Hello there, the angel from my nightmare

“We’ll have Halloween on Christmas”
Blink 182-I Miss You
(I miss you miss you)
Hello there the angel from my nightmare
The shadow in the background of the morgue
The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley
We can live like Jack and Sally if we want
Where you can always find me
And we’ll have Halloween on Christmas
And in the night we’ll wish this never ends
We’ll wish this never end
Where are you and I’m so sorry
I cannot sleep I cannot dream tonight
I need somebody and always
This sick strange darkness comes creeping on so haunting everytime
And as I stared I counted the webs from all the spiders
catching things and eating their insides
Like indecision to call you
And hear your voice of treason
Will you come home and stop this pain tonight
stop this pain tonight
Don’t waste your time on me your already the voice inside my head
I miss you miss you
Do they do it on purpose?

By “they” I mean the people that design packaging and by “it” I mean create packages that keep you from being able to actually consume all of the product you purchase.
Take into consideration laundry soap. With a family of 6 you can bet that I do more laundry than most. With the constantly increasing cost of living, I’m being a lot smarter with my money. I buy the cheaper brand of laundry soap because I go through more of it.
You’d think this was a smart move. Look at the cost of Tide and look the cost of it’s generic buddies and you’ll more than likely buy the cheap brand too.
The only problem is that nearly every cheap brand I purchase has a flaw in their packaging. The flaw is that it with the awesome pouring spout that makes distribution of soap easier, it comes with a lip in the lid (for lack of a better word) that causes some of the soap to remain stuck in the bottle.
All of the turning upside down – quickly, slowly, rapidly, whatever; doesn’t help. Banging it against the inside of the washer machine doesn’t work either. Banging it against my head really doesn’t work. Why don’t I just remove the spout you ask? Because I TRIED and that little sucker is practically welded to the bottle.
Being that I’m trying to economize, I set aside the bottle hoping that some day I’ll figure out how to get the damn soap out. What that leaves me with is a dryer top full of nearly empty laundry soap bottles that if you combine the contents into one, you might be able to wash a large load of clothes with. But hey, it’s the principal dammit!

See all of that soap just waiting to be let out? It has a duty to my clothes that it cannot fulfill because of the “design flaw”.

Dream a little dream of me

I’ve been preoccupied with many things lately and have decided to channel my dementia to this blog site. When I first created it, the first thing that popped into my head was “Dream a little dream” and there it went at the very top.
As I started working on it more tonight, the song “Dream a Little Dream” has been running through my head like a soundtrack. Figured I’d share it
Enjoy!
Clearly the store is closed

Is it really that hard to turn the “open” sign off when you close down? This store is a repeat offender. I see an “Americas dumbest criminal” episode here waiting to happen.
